Coxes Pond is in the centre of the village and is maintained by the Parish Council. This beautiful Village Pond can be walked around and the Parish Council has provided a seat for people to sit for a relaxing moment or two and take in this beautiful aspect of the village.

In 2004, the Parish Council made a grant to Plaistow and Kirdford Primary School towards the provision of a Pond Dipping Platform. People who use the Platform and especially parents and carers are asked to exercise caution and to keep a watchful eye on their children.

The Parish Council, from time to time, arranges Working Parties to undertake clearance work in and around the Pond.
